Quick and Easy Way to Relax the Back, Shoulders, and Neck

Posted by Bruce Carrington on

Like many others, I end most workdays with a hefty amount of tension in my back, shoulders, and neck. I try to take preventative measures like adjusting my posture and spending more time stretching. But, what I have come to realize is that much if not all tension has a mental component. Stretching and posture don't do much good if I am not in a setting where my mind and thoughts can be allowed to rest.

That's why I love this  ProsourceFit Acupressure Mat and Pillow Set - it is the perfect tool to create that setting!

As you can see in the video below, as soon as you lay down on the mat, the multitude of points begin to coax your body into a comfortable position. As you breathe, your body begins to slowly relax more into the mat, letting go of tension stored.

I strongly encourage everyone to try one of these out for themselves - you can find them here on Amazon! I will be following this post up with a series of exercises that can be performed on the mat for different with different purposes in mind.
