Posted by Bruce Carrington on

The following exercise is very important for patients in the rehabilitation process following knee surgery. It will help make sure that you get the knee straight. Check it out in the video below and read on for exercise details!

1. Get started by fastening one end of the TheraBand securely to the table leg or in a door jam.
2. Make a loop on the other end of the band and loop it so that it is situated right behind the knee.
3. Put your knee in a slide bend, and then use your quad muscles to pull it back into a straight position.
4. Relax the knee and repeat!

This is going to help you walk a lot smoother, and will help prevent hip and ankle issues over time! Head over here to purchase the bands for yourself!
