Help Prevent Injury By Training Your Hip Abductors with the Synergee Core Sliders

Hip adductors are important muscles to train to prevent injury and improve athletic performance. They play an important role and are especially important in hip extension power. These exercises use the Synergee Core Sliders to help reduce the chance of groin strains, allow you to get into more athletic positions, and improve rotational power.
Two positions to work on adductor and hip extension sliders.
1. Begin in a standing position with a slider pad underneath your foot. Begin to hinge at the hips and slide the foot on the slider foot out to the side with control while ensuring the planted leg’s knee bends and stays pointed forward. Then pull that leg back into starting position with control.
2. Begin in a standing position with a slider pad underneath your foot. Begin to hinge at the hips and slide the foot on the slider foot behind your body with control while ensuring the planted leg’s knee bends and stays pointed forward. Then pull that leg back into starting position with control.
Complete 8 reps in each direction, repeat for 2-3 sets.
