Two Exercises to Improve Hip Stability and Help Prevent Injury
Our hips play a central role in most of our movements, and strong and stable hips can help us perform better in daily activities and help prevent injury over both the short and long term. There are a variety of products and exercises that can be used to promote hip strength and stability, but this article will focus on two products in particular, Synergee Core Sliders and Fit Simplify Resistance Loop Bands. Read on to learn more!
Improve Hip, Foot, and Ankle Stability with Fit Simplify Resistance Loop Bands
The exercise in the video above uses the Fit Simplify Resistance Loop Bands to work on hip, foot, and ankle stability. To perform the exercise, loop one of the bands around your ankles while standing in an athletic stance with your feet shoulder length apart. Then pull the band over with one leg, and return with the other foot. Alternate between sides. For an extra challenge, place the band around your feet and repeat!
Help Prevent Injury By Training Your Hip Abductor with the Synergee Core Sliders
The exercise in the video above uses the Synergee Core Sliders to help train your hips to prevent injury. To perform the exercise, place a slider under one foot, and slide that foot out to one side before returning to a neutral position. Then slide your foot behind the body before returning to a neutral position. Repeat both movements several times.
